Gina Guaragna
Assistant Producer
Gina graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in
Communication in 2006 and recently moved to New York City to pursue
a career in television and entertainment. Born and raised in Upper
Marlboro, Maryland, Gina lived there for 23 years with her parents
and younger sister.
Growing up, she was dynamically involved in a variety
of activities. She played soccer and basketball from a very young
age, and continued through college. She started her own newspaper
at the age of ten, filled with stories about family events, birthday
announcements, poetry, games, and even a fashion page. She played
the saxophone for nine years, joined the chorus, and performed
in a variety of high school musicals. Gina has always had a passion
for the arts and entertainment from the time she was a child.
With her outgoing personality, it only seemed natural
to choose Communication as her major in college. This gave her
the ability to choose a number of interesting classes including
Children and Television, Leadership, and Political Humor. She
held internships at The Bay Theatre Company in Annapolis, Maryland,
The Washington Wizards, and NBC 4—The George Michael Sports
Machine, both in Washington, DC. Her diverse educational background
paved the way for her move to New York City to start working at
Ice Tea Productions in pursuit of her dream to become on-air talent
in the entertainment or sports industries.
Gina currently lives in the Upper East Side of
Manhattan. In her spare time, she enjoys acting, soccer, live
music, cooking, watching TV, and reading.
